“Divo Nerone – Opera Rock”, l’atteso spettacolo sul Colle Palatino, che si affaccia direttamente sul Colosseo, ha debuttato il 7 giugno.

Il musical racconta 14 anni della vita dell’Imperatore ritenuto responsabile del famoso incendio del 64 d.C. , mostrando la sua personalità complessa, le opere e le passioni attraverso un affresco storico unico dalle tinte pop-rock.

Un progetto ambizioso per una squadra di eccellenze mondiali, a partire dalle scenografie del premio Oscar Dante Ferretti, l’arredo del premio Oscar Francesca Lo Schiavo, i costumi del premio Oscar Gabriella Pescucci, la regia di Gino Landi e il contributo alle musiche di Luis Bacalov.

“Divo Nerone – Opera Rock”, the new show in Rome from 7th of June 2017.

The musical guides audiences through 14 years in the life of the emperor held responsible for the famous fire of 64 A.D., recounting his achievements, his passions and his complex personality through a historical pop-rock tableau that can be enjoyed by all.

As the first performance ever to be staged on the Vigna Barberini terrace on the Palatine Hill, directly overlooking the Coliseum, this scenery provides an epic, fascinating backdrop to the show, rendering it totally unique.An ambititious project for a team of international experts: the sets by Oscar-winner Dante Ferretti, the set decoration by Oscar-winner Francesca Lo Schiavo, the costumes by Oscar-winner Gabriella Pescucci, not to mention the direction of Gino Landi and the musical contribution of Luis Bacalov, another Oscar winner, all serve to ensure that audiences from around the world will enjoy an unforgettable experience in the Eternal City.

Si è appena inaugurata la 2° edizione dell’Ostia Antica Festival “Il Mito e il Sogno 2017”, fino al 30 luglio nel Teatro Romano di Ostia Antica, all’interno del famoso Parco Archeologico. Teatro, danza, musica, esibizioni e, dal 3 agosto al 5 settembre, anche cinema all’aperto, con proiezioni in prima visione e grandi classici. Il 7 e l’8 luglio una prima assoluta: il celebre musical e poi film “Mamma Mia!”, la versione italiana che dopo l’estate sarà in cartellone al Teatro Sistina.

The 2nd edition of the Ostia Antica Festival has just opened, until July 30th in the Roman Theater of Ostia Antica, inside the famous Archaeological Park. Theater, dance, music, performances and, from August the 3th to September the 5th, also open air cinema. On July 7th and July 8th a special event: the preview of the italian version of the famous musical and movie “Mamma Mia!”, that will be on display at Sistina Theater after the summer.

Giovedì 29 Giugno torna l’appuntamento per i romani e i tanti turisti in città con la Rievocazione storica della Girandola di Castel Sant’Angelo.

Il programma prevede: ore 17.00, regata dei circoli storici presso il Ponte Margherita – Banchina Regina Margherita lato Ripetta; ore 20.30 esibizione della Banda dei Granatieri di Sardegna e Reggimento Lancieri di Montebello, entrambi in tenuta d’epoca; ore 21.30 spettacolo pirotecnico, in sincronia musicale su repertorio di musica classica, sulla terrazza del Pincio. Il pubblico è invitato ad assistere allo spettacolo da Piazza del Popolo. Buon divertimento!

On Thursday, June 29th, the appointment for Romans and many tourists in the town comes back with the historic reenactment of Castel Sant’Angelo Girandola. The program includes: 5 pm  regatta at Margherita bridge; 8.30 pm exhibition of the Grenadiers’ Band of Sardinia and the Regiment of the Lancieri di Montebello, both of which are in vintage dressing; at 9.30 pm fireworks show and classical music on the Pincio terrace. The audience is invited to attend the show at Piazza del Popolo. Have fun!
